My Name is Matt Fager and I’m the owner/operator of Steadfast Hardwood Restoration.

 I started gaining experience in flooring during high school and continued for a few years after graduation until I felt the pressure to do something more mainstream. I returned to school and graduated with a degree in Paramedic Science. I loved working in EMS and serving the public but still worked with wood and did projects in my time off.  After 13 years as a paramedic I decided it was time for a change. I finally decided to take the leap and go back to flooring full-time.  

After several years of working for other contractors, continuing my education within the wood flooring industry, and finding my passion again I knew it was time.  In 2019, I started Steadfast Hardwood Restoration and haven’t looked back since! I truly love what I do and can’t wait to share that with others!

I am married and currently live in the Irmo area with my family. In my spare time I chase after my daughter who was born in July 2019.
